Wolston Wins a Gold Award in
'Rugby in Bloom' Competition
Wolston War Memorial Gardeners are delighted to advise that they have been awarded a Gold award in the 2018 Rugby in Bloom competition, in the 'Community Gardens' category. The award will be presented at a Ceremony in the Benn Hall on the evening of Wednesday 19th September.
Many thanks go to the Wolston Ladies Knitting and Craft Group who kindly produced sufficient knitted poppies, one for each man whose name appears on the War Memorial. Appreciation also goes to all the village residents and passing walkers who stop for a chat whenever we are gardening.
