Jubilee Tree
The Lime Tree on the Derry
The lime tree on Wolston Derry was planted on 22nd June, 1897 as a way of celebrating Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. It stood proudly on the old green for the next 122 years until it fell during the high winds of June 2019. But what to do with the massive pieces of tree trunk that remained ?

Village Voices
Wanted: Ladies who sing !
Wolston Village Voices is a ladies singing group who meet together because of their love of music and singing.
We are looking for new members to join us. We meet every Tuesday evening at 7.00pm in Wolston Baptist Church on Main Street, Wolston.
We sing a wide range of music including pop, folk, classical, songs from the shows, opera, and works by modern composers.
There is no audition.
