Grants, Loans and Financial Underwriting – 2024
Wolston PC will again be offering Community Groups in the parish the opportunity to apply for grants, loans and/or financial underwriting in the budget year April 2024 to March 2025. In order that the Parish Council may make budget provision for this funding prospective applicants are strongly recommended to submit an initial advice for any funds that may be needed in the next budget year. In your submission, which should be sent by email to the Clerk at:
wolstonpc@wolstonpc.co.ukPlease indicate the name of the community group, the approximate amount of money that you anticipate may be required and why it will be needed. This must be received by the Clerk as soon as possible and no later than 15th December 2023 in order to allow time for the detail budget to be constructed and approved.
Note that this request for early advice of funding that may be required next year is NOT a grant application, but simply a request to Wolston PC to enable adequate financial provision to be made within next year’s budget and then reflected in the precept. When any application for funding is made all applicants will need to complete and submit an ‘Application for Community Funding’ form for the Parish Council to consider. Priority for funds will be given to applicants who have already identified the need and for which the Parish Council has made budget provision.
