This beautiful building, set alone amongst the green fields surrounding Wolston, is part of our heritage. It has a lengthy history - the first Vicar arrived in 1215 - and more than 800 years later it is still a lively, welcoming Church.
Open Church
St Margaret’s is open to visitors every weekday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm between Easter and the end of September and if you are not familiar with this building it is well worth a visit.
Stewards will be on hand to welcome you and will be glad to chat with visitors about the building, or if you want to just sit quietly and be peaceful then there is plenty of space in the body of the church. There is also a small chapel where you can sit.
Do come along, you will be most welcome. We are always willing to provide a steward to show small groups around at times other than those mentioned, and the Parish Office will arrange this on request if you wish. Please call 02476 542722 between 9.30am and 12.30pm on weekdays to arrange.
