Stuck for small group transport ? ‘Back and 4th‘may be the answer
A new service operated by Warwickshire Rural Community Council (WRCC) provides an ‘at cost’ minibus hire service for small groups of up to 16 people. Operated by volunteer drivers, with valid minibus licence, insurance and DBS checks, the cost is £40 + 50p per mile. Rugby Community Transport Service
Do you need help with transport to your GP, dentist, chiropodist, hospital appointments (including London, Birmingham, Nottingham etc.), day care services, luncheon club or similar ? The Community Transport Scheme operated by Warwickshire Community and Voluntary Action (WCAVA) may be able to solve your problem – distance no object !
Operated by fully qualified, insured and vetted volunteer drivers the cost is only £2 per return journey + 45p per mile. Transport to out-patient appoints
A Reminder that West Midlands Ambulance Service offer a free transport service for patients who have a booked out-patient appointment at Warwick, UHCW or St Cross hospitals. Call 01926 310312 with your appointment details to arrange the transport, but please give them as much advance notice as possible !
